Rabbi Darren Levin
Junior High Principal
Rabbi Darren Levin has served as the Junior High Principal at the Fuchs Mizrachi School since 2020. He studied for two years in Israel at Yeshivat Hakotel and then received a BS in Accounting, Master’s in Social Work, MA in Jewish Education, and Semicha from Yeshiva University. Continuing his studies in Jerusalem, Rabbi Levin served as a rabbinic fellow at the YU Gruss Kollel and Isralight’s Leadership Training Program. He was selected for YOU Lead (Prizmah’s leadership development program), as well as the Legacy Heritage Teacher Institute fellowship, which trains cohorts of teacher leaders from across the world to implement school-wide Judaic programs within their respective schools.
Rabbi Levin has counseled and taught in a variety of formal and informal Jewish educational settings, ranging from elementary to university levels. He previously served as the Judaic Studies Principal at Yeshivat Netivot Montessori, the JLIC Director at Johns Hopkins University, and taught at Frisch, Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh and Orayta, and a variety of summer camps. He aspires to support each child in recognizing their unique inner value and infinite potential.
Rabbi Levin and his wife, Avital, are the proud parents of Shmuel, Dovid, Tehila, and Batya who all spend their days at Mizrachi!
