Director of ECP

Mrs. Karyn Hartstone is a graduate of Brandeis University and received her education degree from there. She also studied at Boston University, where she received a masters’of Education specializing in Reading. She taught at Cohen Hillel Academy in Massachusetts for 6 years prior to moving to Cleveland in 2000 with her family.  Karyn has been at Fuchs Mizrachi for over 20 years, having held a variety of positions including a teacher in Toddlers, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten. Karyn became the director of Early Childhood in 2020.  She has shared her passion for Torah teaching, children’s literature and social emotional learning into the classrooms in her division. She lives in Beachwood with her husband Rob, her son Isaac, and her dog Teddy. Karyn also has two children Avi and Lila, who graduated from Mizrachi and now live in Israel.
