Director of Development and Communications

 

Shira Teller has worked for the past 10 years in nonprofit management.  After receiving a BA in Psychology from Stern College for Women, she went on to receive her MA in Physical Therapy from McMaster University.  

After Shira’s family relocated to Cleveland, OH Shira began working at the Fuchs Mizrachi School and quickly fell in love with working in Business Administration. Shira spent nearly 4 years as the Director of Admissions, overseeing the recruitment and retention of families to the school, management of the financial aid process, and community programming.  During this time, Shira also headed the creation of the school’s Communications department creating strategic implementation of the school’s communication plan of all outgoing print, email, and social media communications.  Shira was then recruited to take over the Director of Development and Communications position and oversees the overall fundraising, donor stewardship, and communications of the school.
