Rabbi David Teller
High School Principal
Rabbi David Teller is deeply committed to academic excellence, social-emotional well-being, and spiritual growth. He holds Semicha and a Master’s in Education from Yeshiva University, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University, and a Master’s in Independent School Leadership from Columbia University, Teacher's College.
Rabbi Teller joined Stark High School in 2015 as a Judaic Studies Teacher before serving as Dean of Students and now High School Principal. Throughout his time at Stark, he has played a pivotal role in student support, faculty development, and school culture. He developed the High School Academic Coaching program, implemented an executive functioning and social-emotional curriculum, and launched the Upperclassmen Ambassadors program to foster community and belonging.
Since becoming High School Principal in 2022, Rabbi Teller has guided the development of a high school educational vision in building a Culture of Kedusha and a Culture of Deeper Learning, continuing to shape a dynamic and supportive environment for students and faculty alike.
